This is The Original Fire, from Hearth Science, which is pioneering the ancestral future of wellbeing. Our trans-discplinary work explores what is required to ignite the human connection physiology from within the dissociative matrix of modernity. Our objective is to renature the human family. This website is for interested wellness and development professionals and practitioners as well as a general audience passionate about the frontiers of wellbeing.

In this newsletter, you’ll get access to our deepest and newest research, as well as clinical thinking informed by our global network of faculty, mentors, and advisors, which includes more than 60 people from 25 disciplines of wellbeing from 24 cultures, and ten of the world’s leading experts in their respective fields.

This newsletter is for a global community of practitioners who want to be challenged to expand and deepen the way that they conceptualize, embody, and practice the application of wellbeing in their work, as it applies to healing and growth.

I’ll be the primary curator of content here, sharing from my own writings, as well as sharing guest posts from our remarkable faculty, advisory, and Global Council of Governance.

Welcome to the ancestral future of wellbeing.

Stay current.

Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox, so you won’t miss a thing. We encourage you, in the spirit of our greater work, to set aside an unhurried time to browse through the newsletter. Our aspiration is that it meets you at the speed of tea, not coffee. (Nothing against coffee. We love coffee. It’s just that while lots of people ‘grab a coffee’, no one grabs a tea. Tea, by its very nature, implies ritual and time.) The Original Fire implies ritual and time. Find the right space, the right moment, move into an analog versus digital frame of mind, and join us at the hearth.

Join the tribe.

Be part of a global trans-disciplinary community of people who share your interests.

Why did you decide to launch The Original Fire?

Hearth Science is an eco-system of companies, alliances, and entities created to support the renaturing of the human family. In 2020 we created Jaguar Imprints as a publishing imprint to house the literary side of our work, and to create interactive books that leveraged our film-making capabilities in tandem with our writings. We envisioned Jaguar publishing fiction and non-fiction books connected to our work from a variety of our faculty, mentors, and advisors.

If we think of a book as a package of [essays] or [stories] or [ideas], which is developed, iterated, and refined over time, it occurs to us that we can also make these available to people in a more granular, and potentially less expensive way, while getting more engaged feedback along the path. Our objective is to get this work out into the world in a variety of media, where it can be examined, assimilated, argued with, and implemented in the service of human and planetary wellbeing. To that end we are exploring this newsletter format, which will essentially deliver our deepest and most cutting-edge ideas to your inbox with regularity.

Charging a modest subscription fee supports this work renaturing the human family.
